One of EDSIG's most important ongoing activities is the ISECON conference.

ISECON - the Information Systems Education Conference - brings together information systems educators from around the world.

ISECON, which has been held annually since 1982, is the largest, continuously running conference for IS Education!

ISECON is the place to learn about and contribute to the latest trends and issues in the field, such as model curricula, IS program accreditation, and emerging technologies.

ISECON activities include:

  • workshops and seminars conducted by experts
  • refereed paper sessions
  • distinguished guest speakers
  • panel sessions
  • active vendor exhibits
  • birds-of-a feather & common interest groups

All accepted refereed papers and abstracts are published in the conference proceedings, which is distributed to attendees at each conference.

ISECON 2008 is scheduled for November 6-9, 2008 in Phoenix, AZ at the Hilton Phoenix East/Mesa.

See the official ISECON web site at www.isecon.org for more information.
